Yes! :D

I've been working on drawing interest back to Hatena services lately. I've had some limited success so far :)

Perhaps high average scores (7+) will be entirely hidden, and low average scores (5) will minimize the post with a small note?

Actual spam generally scores far higher, so it is unlikely for real posts to score as spam.

Currently the API shows average scores of messages for people who recently posted (scores are averaged across entries from the last 48 hours). However, I may soon adjust it to show the average score of all posts, but only including people who have posted recently.

Currently Haiku Antispam uses SQLite, but I may move to MySQL. I need to redesign how I store the classification results, however.

I suggest that you do not entirely hide spam-posts -- it is better to replace the content or minimize them and show score in small letters, perhaps link to haikuantispam.lightni.ng

The spammers are adapting to work around my classification. Because I will be working on improving it, in case I make a mistake, it is better to not entirely hide the spam so that real messages don't get hidden by mistake. Thank you for your consideration.

I think you might be a bit confused about what I mean by posting address.

Many Hatena services have an email posting address for each user, such as ut980543hy@h.hatena.ne.jp (random letters and numbers, and then @h.hatena.ne.jp)

If you send an email to your "posting" address, it will post it to Haiku.

If you go to https://www.hatena.ne.jp/my/config/mail/upload you can change yours -- that way, if your posting address has ended up on a spam list, spam can no longer end up getting sent to Hatena Haiku via the posting address because you will have a new one given to you.

It doesn't have anything to do with the email address that you signed up to Hatena with.

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand -- you should just be able to change your posting address at the link I gave you to cut off the spam

(Also, I tried to add you on Discord with the Discord tag I found scrolling down your page, but it didn't work :c I'm sudofox#8048 )

id:Cat444 Hi 小泉猫, please respond. Are you posting those "Hey, hiya, good morning" things with the links to random php scripts on probably-compromised sites? Because I think your email posting address could've been somehow compromised (maybe your email account itself -- it could've grabbed that email from your contact book.)

You can change your email-posting address here:

https://www.hatena.ne.jp/Cat444/config/mail/upload

You have a profile and all that, but what you're posting is pretty spammy....

The spammers are not getting around the quiz. They are pulling out old accounts.

It is very easy to do some searching through Haiku to find spammers. It is also very simple to detect the spam.

That's what I'm doing with my service: https://haikuantispam.lightni.ng

If Hatena were interested in letting me work on developing anti-spam custom-tailored to each of their services, I would be absolutely glad to do so. The original intent of haikuantispam was to show how simple it is to use existing tools to filter spam -- hoping to inspire Hatena to do so as many of their services do not seem to do any spam detection.

If I am able to get almost 100% accuracy with my simple filtering, then imagine what someone with access to the actual database or with custom APIs to fetch needed/relevant data could do! That "someone" is Hatena.

Consider salt. You can put it on food to change and improve the flavor of the food, but eating salt itself will cause you to become dehydrated.

Consider alcohol. You can drink it while spending time with family and friends to add "flavor" to the time you're spending with them. The time you spend with them leads to stronger relationships and healthy communication. Drinking alcohol by itself in order to relieve stress, however, is not healthy in the same way. Spending time with people you know, performing other healthy activities to relieve stress (exercise, writing, drawing, singing, programming/coding if you enjoy that) are all things that you can do more of to offset your stress. However, drinking more alcohol when you have more stress will leave you in a worse place than previously.

Hope this helps.
