Consider salt. You can put it on food to change and improve the flavor of the food, but eating salt itself will cause you to become dehydrated.

Consider alcohol. You can drink it while spending time with family and friends to add "flavor" to the time you're spending with them. The time you spend with them leads to stronger relationships and healthy communication. Drinking alcohol by itself in order to relieve stress, however, is not healthy in the same way. Spending time with people you know, performing other healthy activities to relieve stress (exercise, writing, drawing, singing, programming/coding if you enjoy that) are all things that you can do more of to offset your stress. However, drinking more alcohol when you have more stress will leave you in a worse place than previously.
